Company History

In 1994 Dr. Alan Darlington (our Founder) joined the Research Team at the Controlled Environment Systems Research Facility  at the University of Guelph. The facility has a unique focus on biological life support research, The research team has gained world recognition for the use of biological systems to improve indoor air quality.

 In 2001, Dr. Alan Darlington received the Martin Walmsley Fellowship sponsored by the Ontario Centres of Excellence.  This allowed Dr. Darlington to form Air Quality Solutions Ltd,  later he joined with Randy Walden to form Nedlaw Living Walls Inc. a technology company that markets Living Wall Biofilters.
